Bowser Builders Supply 2011 Open Tournament

Tournament Director Appointed
Tom Sprandel (with the black peices playing Neil Cruden) comes to us from the Evanston Chess Club of Chicago. He has been Chief Tournament Director in 25 events since 1991 and is a certified local tournament director in good standing with the USCF.
World Champion U10 confirmed for the 2011 tournament
Jason Cao of Victoria is confirmed to be playing at the Bowser Builders Supply Open Tournament. He brings a level of prestige to our tournament that is the envy of others.
The Bishops of Bowser supply all equipment and clocks for the tournament. This tournament will be four rounds, game in 45 with 5 second increments. The tournament director (TD) is yet to be announced. Prizes will be tournament chess equipment (see below for details). Ties will be settled by a five minute blitz round.
Tentative round times are 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
