We are the Bishops of Bowser, a group of casual chess players.  Bowser is a village on Vancouver Island north of Nanaimo and Qualicum Beach.  Incidentally, William Bowser was BCs 17th premier (1915-16).  We meet on Sundays at the Bean Counter cafe at 11 AM and sometimes on Wednesdays or Fridays or Saturdays.

The date for the 2nd Lighthouse Country Chess Tournament will be Saturday August 14, 2010 at the Bowser Legion.  Stay tuned for details
